Pedicures are the same as manicures but for the feet and have the same effect. The pedicure will again start off with a foot massage after being soaked in lotion to make the feet soft, the technician will also scrub the foot to relieve it of any dead skin on the heel and the underneath of the foot. The technician will then go onto cutting away cuticles and skin and then onto buffing the nails. After this is done the nail technician will file the nail into the desired shape and finish with a coat of clear polish.
